There are two kinds of “I Can’t”. One is a limit held in place by existence. If I command the tides to stop, I will fail. I can’t stop the tides. I may be able to rearrange the water or fill in the tide flats, but I can’t stop the great power behind the tides.

The other kind of “I Can’t” is a belief held in place only by the mind. Many of these “I Can’ts” are excuses your mind uses to stop you from creating your goals. Frankly, it’s because your mind doesn’t like to work too much.

In Karate we try to bring these kind of “I Can’ts” to the surface of our consciousness so we can drop them. Without them we find how much more we can do and create. We bring them to our consciousness by working super hard in classes. When you get tired, that’s when they show up. I can’t do any more! I can’t go any faster! At that point you can test the “I Can’t”. Can you do just a little more? Can you go just a little faster?

As we drop the “I Can’ts”, we are left with our “I Cans”. That makes our life more positive, (which attracts more positive in our life).

Why Martial Martial Arts is Good for Kids

The world around us is constantly changing, may it be the way we live, the way we eat, the way we use our technology, and even the way we exercise. But as the world around us changes, people also get lazier and we depend too much on technology in our everyday lives. And sitting around isn’t helpful for people to have a better way of living. And many of us can see that so young mothers of our time, they are doing their best for this not to happen to their children. They want their kids to have a good childhood habits like what they had in the past.

It is very easy to train kids to develop good habits, so it is great if you train the kids at an early stage. Conditioning the kids will usually lead them to acquire good qualities such as self discipline and self confidence. This is where some form of exercises for kids comes in, such as martial arts. It conditions their mind and body at an early stage so they grow up and live their everyday life quite differently from other kids which is a good thing because they will truly live life. The earlier they train the better.

Martial arts have many good impacts on people especially to young children. A great form of exercise, something that is truly gratifying especially when you see the results. You often see children whose energy wear down quite easily when it comes to doing activities. One cause of that is that their physical state is not accustomed to be working for long period of time. With the help of this exercise, you are giving them the opportunity of a well balanced internal health.

The moment the kids begin training martial arts it will make them feel that they have accomplished something and that’s the thing that boosts their self-esteem. If you look around us today, you will see that the most prosperous people are the people who have self-discipline. They are the ones who were trained from an early age to focus and those who have fallen and learned to stand again and persevere. It is the same way in martial arts, you sometimes fall, but you don’t give up instead you stand up and try again to do better. Many children who have done martial arts across the globe have grown to be friendly, respectable people.
