FREE! Karate Course For Beginners
We periodically have FREE Karate Courses that are offered on Saturday afternoons. These classes allow propsective students to try Karate and see if it is something that truly interests them. We use the Free Course as an audition. Depending on student performance through this class, we may offer them one of our limited number of student openings in our program. We limit the number of students that join because we are a school with approximately 200 students already.
Before students are allowed to attend the FREE Course we have the students come to a tryout just to make sure they have the skills to be successful in our class. In this tryout we just look for basic balance, coordination, and strength. We also look of ability to focus, follow the instructor, and motivation. We are not necessarily looking for students that already have great physical skills.
